QuickBooks Desktop to stop selling to new U.S. subscribers

Straight from Intuit's "Firm of the Future" blog:
Quickbooks Desktop is planning to stop selling several Desktop products to US NEW subscribers after July 31,2024.  QB Desktop Pro, Premier, Desktop for Mac and Desktop Enhanced Payroll.

Existing subscribers to Quickbooks Desktop are not impacted. They can continue to renew their subscriptions after July 31,2024 and they will continue to provide support and updates.
Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise is not affected at all.  They will still sell new subscriptions after July 31,2024

For those that may not know, the Desktop pro and premier downloadable software that lives on your computer had recently been changed from a "buy once" model to a monthly subscription. Current subscribers will still be able to subscribe.  There will no longer be an option for NEW subscribers to obtain Desktop Pro or Premier.  QB enterprise will be the only other desktop product available.
ALL NEW innovations will be made to Quickbooks Online.  This is the ONLY product we use, and we will continue our expertise in QBO and connected cloud based solutions that sync to QBO in real time.  I didn't support desktop clients anyway, so for NetDeposited this changes nothing.  The link to the full article is here.
