This week on School of Bookkeeping's "Workshop Wednesday" in which I have been a regular guest, we had a couple of visitors. Marc and Gennady from "We Integrate" demo'd their E-commerce connector. Right now it connects Shopify to Quickbooks Online, but they did say that they were planning on developing more connections.
A couple of unique features:
- They only sync sales receipts, using undeposited funds so there is no need for a clearing acct.
- You can use for both managing inventory in and out of QBO
- You can use the Sales Tax module within QBO to track SALES TAX NEXUS!!! (this is so cool- the first time I have seen this from a connector)
- LOTS of info comes over into the sales receipt and you can have the Shopify sales order # listed AND create a unique QBO sales receipt number. Pretty cool!
